Obituary of Darline Bange

Funeral Services for Darline Bange of Eolia, MO, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry, MO. Rev. Bob Norvel, pastor of Annada Community Christian Church, will officiate with burial in Millcreek Cemetery near Silex, MO. Serving as pallbearers will be Justin Bange, Brandon Bange, Kyle Bange, Mike Bange, Robert Gilbert and Rob Hall; and honorary pallbearers will be Bradley & Kaitlyn Reed, Brittany & Mikah Bange, Landon, Logan & Larson Hall and Aven & Alexi Bange. Mrs. Bange, 68, passed away Saturday evening, February 22, 2014 at Pike County Memorial Hospital in Louisiana, MO. Born November 5, 1945 in Elsberry, she was the daughter of Frank Arthur and Fannie Ellen Kaiser Gray. She was a 1963 graduate of Elsberry High School and received her LPN license from Pike-Lincoln Technical Center in Eolia. She was united in marriage on February 8, 1964 in Elsberry to Herbert John Bange. This union was blessed with six children: Jeff, John, Theresa, Suzanne, Katrina and Chris. She worked as the Head Nurse for Silex Community Care. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Fannie Gray; and her beloved husband of 42 years, Herb Bange who died April 25, 2007. Survivors include three sons: Jeff Bange and his wife, Kim, of Eolia, John Bange of Elsberry and Chris Bange and his wife, Emily, of Fayette, MO; three daughters: Theresa Reed and her husband, Denis, of Annada, MO, Suzanne Hall and her husband, Rob, of Eolia and Katrina Bange, also of Eolia; and twelve grandchildren. She also leaves one brother, Ralph Norman Gray and his wife, Kay, of Troy, MO; one sister, Donna Bange and her husband, Bernard, of Elsberry; three sisters-in-law: Louise Bange, Alicia Bange, and Clara Hammond, all of Elsberry; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, February 24, 2014 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association in care of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home; 107 S. 5th Street; Elsberry, MO 63343.
