Obituary of Blase Joseph Brunnert

A mass of Christian Burial for Blase Joseph Brunnert of Old Monroe, MO, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Immaculate Conception Church near Old Monroe. Fr. Ed Brunnert will officiate with burial in Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Joe Kaimann, Vince Kaimann, Chris Kaimann, Kevin Kaimann, Charlie Kaimann and William Kaimann. Mr. Brunnert, 91, passed away early Thursday morning, July 25, 2013 at Delmar Gardens in O'Fallon, MO. Born January 5, 1922 in Old Monroe, he was the son of Anton "Tony" and Loretta Herbert Brunnert. He lived on the family farm his entire life, where he worked as a dairy farmer. He served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Loretta Brunnert; and five brothers: Steve, Bruno, Frank, Sylvester and Arthur Brunnert. Survivors include his dear friends, Paul and Clara Hoeckelmann of O'Fallon; other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Immaculate Conception Church.
