Obituary of Melda Kay Williams

Visitation for Melda Kay Williams of Moscow Mills, MO, will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. Mrs. Williams, 61, passed away Friday morning, July 12, 2013 at her home near Moscow Mills. Born August 19, 1951 in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of Harold and Vera Duncan Martin. She was united in marriage on October 10, 1970 in St. Charles, MO to Rickey Edwin Williams. This union was blessed with two children: Shane and Cara. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Martin and Vera Martin-Dale. Survivors include her beloved husband of 42 years, Rickey Williams of Moscow Mills; one son, Shane Williams of O'Fallon, MO; one daughter, Cara Lippman and her husband, Jason, of Winfield; and four grandchildren: Kyle, Kaitlyn and Kaiden Lippman and Collin Vines. She also leaves three sisters: Gloria Odorizzi and her husband, T.O., of Fenton, MO, Sharon Parsons and her husband, John, of Union, MO, and Terry Noland also of Union; two brothers: Harold Martin and his wife, Janet, of Harvester, MO, and Ron Martin of Union; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
