Obituary of Larry Wayne Rodebaugh

Funeral Services for Larry Wayne Rodebaugh of Foley, MO, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 1, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Winfield near Winfield, MO. Rev. Mike Ryan, church pastor, will officiate with burial in New Salem Cemetery near Winfield. Serving as pallbearers will be Stan Dildine, Dustin Dildine, Darrell Turnbull, Skyler Julian, Zayne Fieweger Ronnie Stovall, Leonard Mostrum, Guy Templeton and Lynn Pelton. Mr. Rodebaugh, 62, passed away early Monday morning, June 24, 2013 at his home. Born October 20, 1950 in Nebraska, he was the son of Wilbur Neal and Fern Van Horn Rodebaugh. He graduated from Western Tech School in Denver, CO. He worked as a mechanic for Dwight Shank Chevrolet in Burdett, KS for many years. He was united in marriage on May 22, 1993 in Burdett to Patricia Diane Turnbull. Their home was blessed with three children: Stan, Dustin and Kayla. He worked as a mechanic for Brooks Brothers Trailers near Winfield, retiring after 20 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Winfield. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Fern Rodebaugh; his brother Donald Rodebaugh; and his father-in-law, William Arlie Turnbull on March 26, 2013. Survivors include his beloved wife of 20 years, Patricia Rodebaugh of Foley; two sons: Stan Dildine and his wife, Dawn, of Winfield and Dustin Dildine and his girlfriend, Amy Dallas, of Troy, MO; one daughter, Kayla Dildine and her fiancé Skyler Julian, of Columbia, MO; three grandchildren: Zayne, Elijah and another due in November. He also leaves two sisters: Carol Burkett of Wichita, KS and Sharon Beach and her husband, Ronnie, of Hutchinson, KS; one brother-in-law, Ronald Turnbull and his wife, Yvonne, of Curryville, MO; his mother-in-law, Roice Turnbull of Winfield; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, June 30, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Winfield. Memorials may be made to the Gideons or the First Baptist Church of Winfield's Children's Camp Fund in care of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home; 3838 East Highway 47; P.O. Box 253; Winfield, MO 63389.
