Obituary of Yvettae McClelland

Funeral Services for Yvettae "Pete" McClelland of Old Monroe, MO, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at the First Baptist Church of Winfield, MO. Rev. Mike Ryan, church pastor, will officiate with burial in Valhalla Cemetery in St. Louis, MO. Serving as pallbearers will be Jeremy Goff, Darrell Goff, Ron Bicker, Doug Bagby, John Strippgen and Rich Stone. Mrs. McClelland, 82, passed away late Saturday evening, May 25, 2013 at Lincoln County Nursing & Rehab Center in Troy, MO. Born October 4, 1930 in Perryville, MO she was the daughter of Perry and Fannie Wofford Davis. She was a 1948 graduate of Perryville High School. She was united in marriage on August 22, 1962 in East St. Louis, IL to Albert Lee McClelland. She was employed for thirty years as an electronic board assembler at McDonnell-Douglas Aircraft Manufacturer in St. Louis, retiring in 1993. The McClellands moved to the Winfield area in 1992. She was a member of Winfield First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Perry and Fannie Davis; two brothers: Clyde Davis and Ray Davis; and her beloved husband of 50 years, Albert McClelland who died January 15, 2013. Survivors include one son, Douglas Newton and his wife, Karen, of Moscow Mills, MO; two daughters: Lynn Goff and her husband, Darrell, of Winfield and Kathy Lovett and her husband, Bob, of Fenton, MO; nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She also leaves two brothers: Perry Davis and his wife, Brenda, of Perryville and Herbert Davis and his wife, Carol, of Perryville; two sisters: Gladys Vernon and Pearlene House, both of Perryville; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at the First Baptist Church of Winfield.
