Obituary of Margaret Rose Bandy

Margaret Rose Bandy Memorial Services for Margaret Rose Bandy of St. Peters, MO, formerly of Lincoln County, MO will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. Rev. Bobby Petit, pastor of Timber Ridge Church in High Ridge, MO, will officiate. Mrs. Bandy, 70, passed away Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital. Born July 14, 1944 in St. Louis, Missouri, she was the daughter of John J. Bienkowski and Helen Marie Wright. Margaret worked as a bartender in the Winfield area for several years and was a member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary in Winfield. She worked as a factory worker for Nordyne until her retirement on July 10, 2000. Margaret was united in marriage on May 5, 2005 in St. Peters to Gary A. Bandy. She enjoyed playing bingo in her free time. She was preceded in death by her parents, John J. Bienkowski and Helen Wright; one sister, Anne Waters; and one half-brother, John Bienkowski. Survivors include her beloved husband of 9 years, Gary Bandy of St. Peters; one son, Steve Petit of Old Monroe, MO; and two daughters: Donna O'Shei and her husband, Steve, of Palm City, FL and Pam McDonald and her husband, Mike, of St. Peters. She also leaves five grandchildren: Joseph Bray, Aaron Bray, Allie McDonald, Kyle Bray and Abbie McDonald Grace; five great-grandchildren: Jemma Bray, Kaiden Truelove, Cameron Bray, Maelynn Grace and Mason Truelove; one niece, Angie Williams of Batchtown, IL, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield.
