Obituary of Matthew Daniel Douglas

Matthew Daniel Douglas, 39, of Troy, MO passed away Monday, August 3, 2026 at his home. Born July 1, 1987 in St. Louis, MO, he was the son of Debra Jean Pingleton Douglas. Along with music, Matthew had a love for art, doing a lot of his own tattoos. Most of all playing with his nieces and nephews. Matthew had a heart of gold and would do anything for those he loved. He was one of the most selfless people you could ever meet. Survivors include his mother, Debra Douglas of Troy; and two sisters: Danielle Douglas of Minneapolis, MN and Kati Duncan and her husband, Matthew, of Gulf Shores, AL. Matthew also leaves his nieces and nephews: Kelsey Foster of Troy, Kamryn Foster of Troy, Daren Foster of Maryland Heights, MO, and Quinn and Crew Duncan of Gulf Shores; and his great niece and nephew: Averie and Gabriel Javaux.
