Obituary of Luke Joseph Sherman

Funeral Services for Luke Joseph Sherman of Moscow Mills, MO will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield, MO. Rev. Mike Ryan will officiate with burial in Whispering Winds Cemetery. Luke, 35, passed away June 30, 2026 in O’Fallon, MO. Born December 18, 1990 in Rushville, IL, he was the son of Mark Alan Sherman and Angela Louise Buss Sherman. Luke worked as a supervisor for Archway Contractors. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, arrowhead hunting, driving down backroads and spending time in the creek with his children. Luke was a member of Missouri Laborer Union Local #660. Survivors include his fiancé, Cidney Wilson of Moscow Mills; and three children: Kylie, Kendall and Jade. Luke also leaves his parents, Angela Sherman and her boyfriend, Brian Hamm of Chambersburg, IL and Mark Sherman and his wife, Maureen, of Silex, MO; one brother, Mark “AJ” Sherman of Moscow Mills; two sisters: Chasity Jackson and her husband, James, of Mt. Sterling, IL and Christy Hagerman and her husband, Jason, of Jacksonville, IL; other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Services at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield.
