Obituary of Sherry Lea Gray

Funeral Services for Sherry Lea Gray of O’Fallon, MO will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. Pastor Kirk Mellen of Abundant Life Baptist Church in Troy, MO, will officiate with burial in Whispering Winds Cemetery near Winfield. Serving as pallbearers will be Ryan Kelly, Jeremy Gray, Brandon Creasy, Jerry Smith, Ricky Gray and Jacob Gray. Sherry, 65, passed away Monday morning, March 30, 2026 at SSM DePaul Hospital in Bridgeton, MO. Born July 15, 1960 in Malden, MO, she was the daughter of Bobby Ray and Lueann Aaron Creasy. Sherry was a graduate of Fort Zumwalt North High. She was united in marriage on May 24, 1980 in Pemiscot County, MO to Jerry Lynn Gray, Sr. This union was blessed with two children: Jerry, Jr. and Casondra. Sherry was a loving homemaker. She enjoyed camping, riding motorcycles and sitting on the front porch. Sherry loved to travel to the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee and South Dakota for vacations. She had so much love for her family and friends. Sherry was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby and Lueann Creasy. Survivors include her beloved husband of nearly 46 years, Jerry Gray, Sr., of O’Fallon; their children: Jerry Gray, Jr. and his wife, Tiffany, of St. Peters, MO and Casondra Kelly and her husband, Ryan, of O’Fallon, MO; and four grandchildren: Kayla Gray, Kylie Gray, Jeremy Gray and Destonie Gray. Sherry also leaves two brothers: Mike Richie of Winfield and Marshall Creasy and his wife, Rhonda, of Winfield; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of the Service at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
