Obituary of Elmer Richard Hayes

Memorial Services for Elmer Richard Hayes of Winfield, MO will be at a later date. Elmer, 81, passed away Thursday morning, March 19, 2026 at the Northeast Correctional Center in Bowling Green, MO. Born May 10, 1944 in Potosi, MO, he was the son of Andrew R. and Ethel Virginia Gilliam Hayes. Elmer was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Ethel Hayes; four sisters: Mabel Patterson, Donna Eye, Sue Ingram and Mary Wren; and three brothers: Paul Hayes, Jim Hayes and David Hayes. Survivors include his brothers: Thomas Hayes, Hershel Hayes; and sister Eunice Jordan.
