Obituary of Jeanette Eleanor Huffman

A Mass of Christian Burial for Jeanette Eleanor Huffman of St. Peters, MO will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Old Monroe, MO. Fr. Michael Lampe, church pastor, will officiate with burial in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin Ell, Chris Ell, Jaden Lafferty, Jeff Huffman, Greg Huffman and Doug Ell. Jeanette, 81, passed away Wednesday evening, December 31, 2025 at SSM St. Joseph Hospital in Lake St. Louis, MO. Born June 27, 1944 in St. Charles, MO, she was the daughter of Norman Joseph “Red” and Mary Ann Prinster Pieper. Jeanette was a graduate of Winfield High School and attended Northeast Teacher’s College in Kirksville, MO. Jeanette was united in marriage on July 26, 1975 to Larry Joe Huffman. This union was blessed with one son, Jason. Jeanette worked as the office secretary for Huffman Chiropractic. She was a member of both All Saints Catholic Church in St. Peters and Assumption Catholic Church in O’Fallon, MO. Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, Red and Mary Ann Pieper; her beloved husband of 30 years, Larry Huffman, DC, who died on December 13, 2005; her mother-in-law, Hattie Nottingham; her brother-in-law, Charles Huffman; and her sister-in-law, Linda Gremminger. Survivors include her son, Jason Huffman and his wife, Krystal, of Silex, MO; and three grandchildren: Avery Huffman, Josie Huffman and Jaden Lafferty. Jeanette also leaves two sisters-in-law: Peggy Huffman and Irma Norton, both of St. Charles; many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
