Obituary of Pamela Sue Miller

Funeral Services for Pamela Sue Miller of Winfield, MO will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 22, 2025 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield. Rev. Scott Groshong, pastor of Corinth Christian Church near Foley, MO, will officiate with burial in New Salem Cemetery near Winfield. Serving as pallbearers will be Tommy Dixon, Sam Miller, Michael Ehrlich, Lenzi Ehrlich, Peyton Ambrose, Paige Thomas, Jackson Ehrlich, McKenleigh Colvin and Landon Ehrlich. Pam, 80, passed away Thursday afternoon, December 18, 2025 at Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur, MO. Born June 23, 1945 on the family farm in Winfield, she was the daughter of Hubert Roland and Ocie Marie Jamison Birkhead. Pam was a 1963 graduate of Winfield High School. She was united in marriage on February 22, 1964 at New Salem Baptist Church in Winfield to Thomas Lee Miller. This union was blessed with three children: David, Terri and Crystal. Pam owned Winfield Flower Shop from 1995 until her retirement in 2012. Tom and Pam owned a boat storage facility for many years. She enjoyed fishing, cooking and baking, but most of all spending time with her grandkids. Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Ocie Birkhead; two brothers: Kenneth and Dennis Birkhead; and her son-in-law, John Dixon. Survivors include her beloved husband of 61 years, Tom Miller of Winfield; their children: David Miller of Silex, MO, Terri Dixon of Winfield and Crystal Smith and her husband, Rob, also of Winfield; five grandchildren: Tommy Dixon and his wife, Haley, Lenzi Ehrlich and her husband, Michael. Peyton Ambrose Paige Thomas and her husband, Gabe, and Sam Miller; and nine great-grandchildren. Pam also leaves several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
