Obituary of George "Bob" Antram

George Robert “Bob” Antram was born November 5, 1934 in St. Louis, MO, the son of George Casper and Bernice M. Vette Antram. He passed away on his 91st birthday, November 5, 2025 at his home near Winfield, MO. Bob was united in marriage on January 15, 1955 in Overland, MO to Marilyn Rebecca Clark. This union was blessed with one son, Robert “Mike” and one daughter, Barbara. Bob worked as the President of Operations for Donnelley Printing (printer of The Suburban Journal), retiring January 2, 1996. He enjoyed golfing. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, George and Bernice Antram; his sister, Mary Ann Poulsen in 2025; and his daughter, Barbara Ann Antram Darnell in 2024. Survivors include his beloved wife of 70 years, Marilyn Antram of Winfield; their son, Mike Antram and his wife, Karen, of Winfield; one son-in-law, Mike Darnell; and two grandchildren: Dana Marie Washburn and her husband, Brandon, and Kristopher Michael Antram and his wife, Jacqueline. Bob also leaves five great-grandchildren: Jacob Liam Cochran, Heidi Leona Antram, Olivia Elizabeth Crane, Lucas Michael Antram and Millicent Eilish Washburn; other relatives and a host of friends.
