Obituary of Stephanie Marie Edgar

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Stephanie Edgar, age 41, who left us unexpectedly on September 2, 2025. Born on January 29, 1984, Stephanie was a loving daughter, mother, sister, and aunt. Stephanie had an unwavering passion for the St. Louis Cardinals and for the outdoors. She loved to hunt and fish, finding peace and joy in the beauty of nature. But above all, her greatest loves were her two children: Emily and Timothy Vratney, and her two stepchildren Avery and Gavin who were the light of her life. Her love for them, and for her family, knew no bounds. Stephanie was preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Patricia Edgar. She is survived by her children: Emilly and Timothy Vratney; her mother, Rita Boehmer; her father, Gilbert Edgar; and stepfather Randy Boehmer. Stephanie is also survived by her boyfriend Jake Travis and his son Jack Robinson, Brothers: Gilbert Edgar, (Casie Edgar), and Noble Simms; and her sisters: Renée Dillon (Richard Dillon) and Crystal Edgar (Lorenzo O’Neill). She leaves behind a large, loving family including her nieces and nephews: Ricky Dillon, Brad Dillon, Levi Dillon, RJ Edgar (Braylee Edgar), Jojo Garza, Jaxxs Dillon, Gabriel Edgar, Maddox Edgar, Oliver Edgar, Ava Edgar, Mia O’Neal, Jaxon Busby and Noble Simms, Jr. Stephanie’s light will forever shine in the hearts of all who loved her. She will be remembered for her kind spirit, her laughter, and her deep love for her family. While she is no longer with us, her memory will continue to live on in the countless lives she touched.
