Obituary of Terry Lee Parnell, Jr.

Visitation for Terry Lee Parnell, Jr. of Winfield, MO will be from 3:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield. Terry, 61, passed away Monday afternoon, July 21, 2025 at his home. Born January 1, 1964 in Oxnard, CA, he was the son of Terry Lee and Janette Anne Tucker Parnell, Sr. In his younger years, Terry enjoyed surfing. He was an avid motorcycle rider and tattoo artist, teaching his nephews who now tattoo in Troy and Florida; and member of the APA Pool League. Terry was a member of the Bush Pilots in Alton, IL and the Rock Town Rockers at the Lake of the Ozarks. Terry’s show dog, Tundra, is the National Grand Champion Perro de Presa Canario. Terry was preceded in death by his mother, Janette Parnell; one sister, Leslie Kinzel; and one brother, Karl Parnell. Survivors include his significant other, Theresa Carter of Winfield; his children: Bryan Parnell and his wife, Paula, of Moscow Mills, MO, Tabethia Parnell of O’Fallon, MO, Samanthia Parnell of Warsaw County, MO, Terry Parnell of Warsaw County and Jeanette Parnell of Warsaw County; three stepchildren: Richy Carter II and his wife, Michelle, of Winfield, Johnathon Hance and his wife, Samantha, of Harvester, MO and Tabatha Himmelsbach and her husband, Mark, of Troy, MO; four grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Terry also leaves his father, Terry Parnell, Sr. and his wife, Susan, of O’Fallon; two brothers: Kenny Parnell and his wife, Trish, of California and Michael Parnell of Florida; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
