Dear Aunt Dot,
You will be deeply missed. I will always treasure the memories of those summer weeks I spent with you—times filled with warmth, kindness, and your quiet generosity. You had a gentle way of making everyone feel welcome and loved, and I’ll never forget how patient and caring you were, not just with me, but with everyone fortunate enough to know you.
Please give my love to Mom, Grandma, Aunt Hilda, Uncle Mike, Aunt Carol, Aunt Gerlinda, Lisa, and Uncle Tinker. I like to imagine you all reunited, surrounded by peace and laughter once again.
Thank you for the small but lasting lessons—like the joy of a late-night snack, the freedom of a swim in your pool, and the grace of simply being present for others. Your memory will stay with me always, and your love will echo in the stories I share and the person I strive to be.
My heart is with Terri, Haley, Kate, Randy Jo, and Luke. I know how heavy this kind of loss can be, but I also know that with time, healing does come. I hope you each find comfort in your memories and in each other.
With love and remembrance,
Robert

Dorothy was the sweetest soul and I always enjoyed our talks. I always had her laughing. She thought I was the funniest. I didn't get to know her untill this year but I can tell how loved she was and how much she loved her family. My fullest sympathy to Terri and family.

Dorothy Vaughn was one of the most sincere, kind, generous women I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. She persevered in prayer, loved fiercely, and always had her heart directed toward her God and her family. Every time I visited her, she welcomed me in with open arms. I will miss her, though I'm convinced that she is filled with joy unspeakable and full of glory in the presence of her Savior and reunited with all those who went before her. Until we meet again, Ms. Dorothy, we will rejoice for you and miss you from here.

Terrie, my heart breaks for your family. Dorothy was a beautiful lady who could light up a room with her smile. Prayers, hugs and love.
