Obituary of Steven Gerard Wilmoth
Funeral Services for Steven Gerard Wilmoth of O’Fallon, MO will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 25, 2025 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. Deacon Neal Westhoff of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church near Old Monroe, MO will officiate with burial in Whispering Winds Cemetery near Winfield. Serving as pallbearers will be Eric Schulte, Kyle Schulte, Charlie Krueger, Rich Richter, Gary Wilmoth and Bob Wilmoth.
Steven, 67, passed away Saturday afternoon, April 19, 2025 at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital in St. Peters, MO.
Born July 11, 1957 in Creve Coeur, MO, he was the son of Donald Dale and Loraine Dunker Wilmoth. Steven was united in marriage on October 20, 1984 in O’Fallon to Trudi Ann Schulte. This union was blessed with one son, Scott. Steven worked as a heat treater for LMI Aerospace, retiring in 2008.
Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Loraine Wilmoth; and two sisters: Mary and Jane Wilmoth.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 40 years, Trudi Wilmoth of O’Fallon; their son, Scott Wilmoth and his wife, Jessica, of St. Peters, MO; and two grandchildren: Emma and Zoey. Steven also leaves five siblings: Sue Jasper and her husband, Harvey, of Washington, Mark Wilmoth of California, Bob Wilmoth and his wife, Desiree, of St. Louis, MO, Joyce Mobley (Linda Mense) of Washington, and Gary Wilmoth and his wife, Jody, of Washington; one sister-in-law, Teresa Moreland and her husband, Ed, of Fredericktown, MO; two brothers-in-law: Tom Schulte of Winfield and Todd Schulte and his wife, Rhonda, also of Winfield; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home, 3838 East Highway 47, P.O. Box 253, Winfield, MO 63389.
