Obituary of Thomas Irl Presley

Funeral Services for Thomas Irl Presley of Foley, MO will be at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 23, 2025 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. Fr. Charles Tichacek, pastor of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsberry, MO will officiate. Tom, 63, passed away early Tuesday morning, March 18, 2025 at his home. Born October 19, 1961 in St. Charles, MO, he was the son of Claude Thomas “Mike” and Iris Elma Brown Presley. Tom was a graduate of Winfield High School. He was united in marriage on June 27, 1987 in Troy, MO to Rachele L. Schiermeier. This union was blessed with two sons: Justin and Lincoln. Tom worked as a heavy equipment operator for Magruder Limestone. His motto he lived by was “work hard, take life easy.” Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Mike and Iris Presley; and one brother-in-law, Craig Schiermeier. Survivors include his beloved wife of nearly 38 years, Rachele Presley of Foley; two sons: Justin Presley of Troy, MO and Lincoln Presley of Foley; and three grandchildren: Damien, Destini and Abigail. Tom also leaves his one brother, Douglas Presley and his wife, Debi, of Winfield; two sisters: Carol Ballew and her husband, Randy, of Troy and Laura Coe and her husband, Duane, of Wright City, MO; parents-in-law, Art and Kathleen Schiermeier of Winfield; sisters-in-law: Mary Johnson and her husband, Jim, of Winfield and Cindy Brinkley and her husband, Dan, of Troy; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until time of the Service at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 23, 2025 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
