Obituary of Rosemary Lorraine Laws

A Mass of Christian Burial for Rosemary Lorraine Laws of Foley, MO will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 14, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsberry, MO. Fr. Charles Tichacek, church pastor, will officiate with burial in Whispering Winds Cemetery near Winfield, MO. Serving as pallbearers will be Travis Fessler, Andy Wolf, Scott Tumbarello, Rich Tumbarello, Johnny Caurso, and Danny Tumbarello. Rosemary, 87, passed away peacefully Sunday night, February 9, 2025 at the home of her daughter, surrounded by love. Born October 19, 1937 in St. Louis, MO she was the daughter of Jasper and Harriet Tobler Tumbarello. She was united in marriage on June 2, 1956 in S. Louis, MO to Jesse Louis “Jack” Laws. This union was blessed with two children: Michael and Michelle. She was a loving homemaker. Rosemary was a longtime member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where she was also a member of St. Ann’s Sodality. Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, Jasper and Harriet Tumbarello; one brother, Robert Tumbarello; one sister-in-law, Joanne Tumbarello; her son-in-law, Ed Fessler; and her beloved husband of 58 years, Jack Laws, who died on November 24, 2014. Survivors include her daughter, Michelle Fessler of Foley; her son, Michael Laws and his wife, Belinda, of O’Fallon, MO; three grandchildren: Travis Fessler of Foley, Quentin Laws and his wife, Skeeter, of O’Fallon and Tiffany Wolf and her husband, Andy, of Foley; and three great-grandchildren: Quinn, Cash and Sawyer Wolf. Rosemary also leaves one brother, Richard Tumbarello of Winfield, MO; one sister-in-law, Carol Tumbarello of Wentzville, MO; one cousin, Jackie Simons of Wentzville; her best friend, Pat Wood of Elsberry; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until time of the Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 14, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
