Obituary of David George Trescott

Funeral Services for David George Trescott of Winfield, MO will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield. Rev. Larry Gallaher, pastor of Asbury Chapel near Foley, MO will officiate with prayers and burial. Serving as pallbearers will be Jeremy Trescott, Greg Trescott, Jim Wall, Michael Frisella, Andy Frisella, Matt Jones, Denny Schalk, Tyler Wehde. David, 69, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 31, 2025 at his home. Born February 23, 1955 in St. Louis, MO, he was the son of Ray Edward and Dorothy Mae Weeks Trescott. David was a 1973 graduate of Winfield High School and a 1976 graduate of DeVry Institute of Technology in Phoenix, AZ. He was united in marriage on October 2, 1982 in St. Louis, MO to Carla Jeane Frisella. Following graduation, David worked for Hornsby Electronics and Olympia Electronics in St. Louis as an electronic technician. He then moved on to Ameri Data (formerly Forsythe Computers) in St. Louis, and ultimately AFFINA, the Customer Relations Company for Monsanto, as their Senior Technology Analyst, retiring in 2011. He was a wonderful, husband, who loved his family and pets. David was a smart man, who was quick witted and loved to laugh. He valued his friends. David loved being on his family farm and lived life to the fullest each and every day. David was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Dorothy Trescott; and his brother, Phillip Trescott. Survivors include loving wife of 43 years, Carla (nee Frisella) Trescott of Winfield; and his beloved dogs and cat. David also leaves two brothers-in-law: Andrew Frisella and his wife, Theresa, of St. Charles, MO and Steve Frisella, also of St. Charles; two sisters-in-law: Lysa Price and her husband, John, of Virginia and Laurie Wall and her husband, Jim, of Creve Coeur, MO; two nieces, six nephews, six great- nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until time of the Service at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Winfield Cemetery, HSMO (Humane Society of MO) or Stray Rescue in St. Louis, in care of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home, 3838 East Highway 47, P.O.
