Posts to the tribute of Yousuf Archibald Wilson

Yousuf was a fine craftsman in his field. He rebuilt a player piano for me way back in 1985. At the time he told me it would last me 20 years. Well, that was 40 years ago and it's still going! I just now learned of his passing because I googled him just to see if he was still alive. I wish I could have told him how long his work has lasted. Several years ago when I moved to a smaller house I gave the piano to a local retirement home. So it is still bringing a lot of joy and happiness to a lot of people. Good job Yousuf!

Uncle Junie was a family man through and through who was always happy to share family memories with us. Our visits always included him demonstrating his amazing musical instruments. And I’ll never forget the dozens of hummingbirds that gathered at his many feeders. He will be missed, but is in a better place, surrounded by loved ones who proceeded him.

Mr Wilson was always looking at me over the top of his glasses, usually while shaking his head.
