Pearl was a dearly loved neighbor to my grandmother. I remember spending weeks every summer in Elsberry and always loved being invited over to share a meal with a giggling group of girls. Pearl always treated me with such interest and kindness. Sending warm thoughts to all of the wonderful girls she so lovingly brought up.

We had a family reunion in 1980 in California. While we were celebrating there was a Streaker that came by through the backyard. Aunt Pearl hopped up on the picnic table just to see if she could catch a glimpse of him.
