Obituary of Rosemary Billings

A Mass of Christian Burial for Rosemary Billings of Elsberry, MO will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsberry.  Fr. Charles Tichacek, church pastor, will officiate with burial in the Elsberry City Cemetery near Elsberry.  Serving as pallbearers will be Dustin Robinson, Alex Boedeker, Jason White, Michael Boedeker, Jessica Robinson, Alison Kipp and Chloe Ross.  Honorary Pallbearer will be Louise Mayes.

Mrs. Billings, 90, passed away Saturday morning, October 28, 2017 at the Elsberry Health Care Center near Elsberry.  Born January 26, 1927 in Belleville, IL, she was the daughter of Robert and Rosa K. Raab Brenner.  Rosemary was a graduate of McCooey High School in Hannibal, MO.  She was united in marriage on August 7, 1965 in Hannibal to William J. “Bill” Billings.  Rosemary worked as a secretary for International Shoe Company.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Rosa Brenner; two sisters: Marilyn White and Myra Jean Howell; and her loving husband, Bill Billings.

Survivors include two nieces: Judy Robinson and her husband, Ronnie, and Wendy Boedeker and her husband, Jim, all of Elsberry; and two nephews: Jay White of Atlanta, GA and Greg White of St. Peters, MO.  Rosemary also leaves several great-nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsberry.  Memorials may be made to the Elsberry Health Care Center (or) Masses in care of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home, 107 S. 5th Street; Elsberry, MO 63343.
