Obituary of Zoe Marie Gratton

Funeral Services for Zoe Marie Gratton of Farmington, MO, formerly of Foley, MO will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at the St. Stephen United Methodist Church in Troy, MO under the direction of Carter-Ricks Funeral Homes in Elsberry and Winfield, MO.  Rev. Bill O’Neal, church pastor, will officiate. 

Zoe, 17, passed away early Saturday morning, September 16, 2017 the result of a car accident on Highway 79 near Old Monroe, MO.  Born June 29, 2000 in St. Peters, MO, she was the daughter of Christopher Aaron Gratton and Virginia Alexandria Lippert-Hotop Gratton.  She was a senior at Farmington High School in Farmington; and had previously attended Winfield High School and the Troy schools.  She was employed at White Castle in Farmington.  An active high school senior, she enjoyed making pottery.  After graduation, she had planned to continue her education in occupational therapy.

Zoe was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Gary Jo Gratton, her maternal grandmother, Virginia Lippert and her step-father, Todd Hepperman, Sr.

Survivors include her mother, Virginia Hepperman of Foley; her father, Christopher Gratton of Farmington; four brothers: Calvin Gratton of Fort Meyers, FL, Todd Hepperman, Jr. and Damien Hepperman, both of Foley, MO, and Anthony Jacob Gratton of Winfield, MO; and two sisters: Alexandria Pinto of Wentzville, MO, and Aryan Hepperman of Foley.  Zoe also leaves her maternal grandparents: Davine Wade of Fulton, MO, Lucille Hepperman of Josephville, MO, and Eva & Tom Horn of O’Fallon, MO; her paternal grandparents: Deborah & Wes Ragan of Farmington, MO; her maternal great-grandparents, Don & Aline Taylor of Elsberry, MO; special grandparents, Dagoberto & Miralba Pinto of O’Fallon, MO; several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at St. Stephen United Methodist Church, 101 Saint Stephen Lane (Highway 47), Troy, MO.  Memorials may be made to the Family of Zoe Gratton in care of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home, 107 S. 5th Street; Elsberry, MO 63343.
