Obituary of Marcella Lillian Noble

Funeral Services for Marcella Lillian Noble of Troy, MO, formerly of Foley, MO will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO.  Rev. Michael Kasevich, pastor of St. Paul United Church of Christ near Old Monroe, MO, will officiate with burial in Bethany Cemetery near Foley.  Serving as pallbearers will be Larry Noble, Tony Noble, Rick Masterson, Jason Windle, Joe Stroud and Owen Stroud.

Mrs. Noble, 88, passed away peacefully, Wednesday morning, September 6, 2017 at Troy Manor in Troy, MO with her sons by her side.  Born October 30, 1928 in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of Joseph and O’Delia Lajeuness Heil.  Marcella’s family lived in St. Louis during the early years before moving to Foley.  Marcella was united in marriage on June 5, 1948 in St. Louis to Leo Noble.  This union was blessed with two sons: Anthony and Larry. Marcella worked as a clerk for Irvin’s Grocery Store and later cared for her grandchildren.  Marcella spent her later years living in Troy.  She enjoyed playing bingo and visiting with her friends and neighbors.   

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and O’Delia Heil; four brothers: Raymond, Kenny, Ervin and Jessie Heil; two sisters: Marian Hyde and Loretta Vangelos; and her beloved husband of 41 years, Leo Noble, who died December 25, 1989.

A devoted mother and grandmother, Marcella is survived by her sons: Tony Noble and his wife, Rosie, of Foley and Larry Noble and his wife, Joyce, of Winfield; two grandchildren: Pamela Noble and Chrissy Stroud and her husband, Joe; and six great-grandchildren: Kelsie Windle, Kayden Neipert, Owen, Olivia, Leah and Lilah Stroud.  Marcella also leaves many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Services at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield.  Memorials may be made to the Bethany Cemetery Fund in care of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home, 3838 East Highway 47, P.O.
