Obituary of Martha Ann White

Funeral Services for Martha Ann White of Elsberry, MO will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 19, 2017 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.  Rev. John Zellmer, pastor of New Hope Baptist Church near Elsberry, will officiate with burial in the Elsberry City Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Taylor Millsap, Bradley Turnbull, David Turnbull, Andrew Turnbull, Billie Millsap, Jr. Brandon Turnbull, Brett Turnbull and Jimmy Dickens.

Mrs. White, 70, passed away Friday morning, June 16, 2017 at Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur, MO.  Born December 23, 1946 in Little Rock, AR, she was the daughter of Ed and Adell Smith Millsap.  Martha was united in marriage on November 18, 1972 in Vinita Park, MO to Taylor Hayden White, Jr.  Martha was a former Girl Scout co-leader.  She loved playing solitaire, crocheting and traveling all of the United States.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Adell Millsap; four brothers: Ronnie Ditto, Larry Ditto, Billie Millsap and Bobby Millsap; one sister, Deanna Ditto-Alley; and her beloved husband of 27 years, Taylor White, Jr., who died August 9, 1999.

Survivors include her children: Glen Millsap and his wife, Melissa, of Boonville, IN and Sandie Turnbull and her husband, David, of Elsberry; and three grandchildren: Taylor Mathias Millsap, Annabelle Grace Millsap and Andrew Roy Turnbull.  Martha also leaves two brothers: Danny Ditto and his wife, Amie, of Jackson, TN and Walter Ditto, Jr. and his wife, Sue, of Savannah, TN; one sister-in-law, Karol Millsap of Longview, WA; her close friend, Mary Mackie and her husband, Arlyn, of Elsberry; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Sunday, June 18, 2017 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.  Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice in care of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home, 107 S. 5th Street; Elsberry, MO 63343.
