Obituary of Joe Bluestone

Funeral Services for Joe Bluestone of Moscow Mills, MO will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. Pastor Mike Larson, pastor of Troy First Baptist Church, will officiate with burial in Whispering Winds Cemetery near Winfield. Serving as pallbearers will be Bill Karras, Jim Reeds, Jeff Watson, Dionisio Glimka, Jacob Benson and Joshua Benson. Mr. Bluestone, 49, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He was born on June 19, 1966. Joe received his Mechanic Certification and Drafting Certificate. He was a graduate of the Missouri Sheriff’s Training Association in Mexico, Missouri. He worked as a police officer for the Moscow Mills Police Department and Security for Mercy Hospital-Lincoln in Troy, MO. Joe also worked as an Insurance Analyst for JM Associates. He was united in marriage on November 24, 2010 to Bobbi Jo Kinzel. Joe enjoyed playing the guitar and drums. He also enjoyed guns and motorcycles. Joe was recently saved by the Troy First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his Pop, Jerry Watson who died April 14, 2014; and one sister, Jilicia Jean Watson. Survivors include his beloved wife of nearly 6 years, Bobbi Bluestone of Moscow Mills; their children: Joshua Benson of St. Louis, Nichole Groff and her husband, Jacob, of Troy, MO, Jacob Benson and his significant other, Kimberly, also of Troy, and Jessica Bluestone of St. Louis; and two grandchildren: Kaylyn and Cooper. Joe also leaves his Mom, Jean Watson of Moscow Mills; his brother, Jeff Watson and his significant other, Lori Brooksher, of Troy; his sister, Joy Glimka and her husband, Dionisio, also of Troy; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. Friday, June 10, 2016 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield.
