Obituary of Donna Jean Henningfeld

A Mass of Christian Burial for Donna Jean Henningfeld of Old Monroe, MO will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 8, 2016 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church near Old Monroe. Fr. Richard Rath, church pastor, will officiate with burial in Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandchildren. Mrs. Henningfeld, 77, passed away early Friday morning, February 5, 2016 at St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles, MO. Born May 29, 1938 in Moscow Mills, MO, she was the daughter of Alfred and Carminetta Wombles Zalabak. Donna was united in marriage on February 27, 1960 in Old Monroe to Victor Oscar Henningfeld. This union was blessed with 9 children: Vicki, David, Mary, Daniel, Dennis, Denise, Darin, Dwayne and Devin. She was a loving housewife. Donna was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Carminetta Zalabak; one brother, Billy Zalabak; and two sons: David and Darin Henningfeld. Survivors include her beloved husband of nearly 56 years, Vic Henningfeld of Old Monroe; seven children: Vicki Kaimann and her husband, Wayne, of Silex, MO, Mary Tompkins and her husband, Calvin, of Middletown, MO, Daniel Henningfeld and his wife, Pam, of Old Monroe, Dennis Henningfeld of Old Monroe, Denise Hamilton and her husband, Gary, of Wentzville, MO, Dwayne Henningfeld and his wife, Rose, of Daytona, FL and Devin Henningfeld and his wife, Laura, of Bowling Green, MO; her daughter-in-law, Bev; eighteen grandchildren: Andrew Kaimann and his wife, Jordan, Jason Kaimann and his wife, Lynn, Becky Fuerst and her husband, Steve, Nicole Maggard and her husband, Chuck, Ashley Bayliss and her husband, Teddy, Linda Holmes and her husband, Cody, Dana Henningfeld and her friend, Tommy, Zach Mitchell and his wife, Kara, Emily Taylor, Kayla Henke and her fiancé, Dan, David Henke, Jr., Spencer Buff and his wife, Erica, D.J. Henningfeld, Ethan Henningfeld, Elijah Henningfeld, Emmett Henningfeld, Kelly Sumski and her husband, Brandon and Bradley Henningfeld and his wife, Jennifer; and fifteen great-grandchildren: Maverick, Andi, Conway, Hunter, Alaina, Mariah, Morgan, Hailey, Wyatt, Waylan, Alexus, Lily, Ellie, Lacey and Lydia. Donna also leaves one brother, Leon Zalabak and his wife, Rio, of Orlando, FL; one sister, Betty Schieffer and her husband, Alfred “Sonny”, of Troy, MO; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield and again from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church.
