Obituary of Robert Vernon Morgan

Funeral Services for Robert Vernon “Bobby” Morgan of Elsberry, MO will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry. Jason Mirikitani, Chaplain for Kindred at Home Hospice, will officiate. Burial will be in Asbury Cemetery near Foley, MO. Serving as pallbearers will be John Berryman, Freddie Berryman, Rick Stopke, Randy Shields, Tommy Wallace and Gary Wallace. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kevin Moulton and Gary Shields. Bobby, 66, passed away Saturday night, January 30, 2016 at Troy Manor in Troy, MO. Born May 10, 1949 in St. Charles, MO, he was the son of Grace Snider. Bobby was employed for a number of years as an assembler at the GM-Chevy-Shell plant in St. Louis, MO. Bobby was a great mechanic and loved working on vehicles. He also worked for Wallace Timber. Survivors include his mother, Grace Marsh of Elsberry, several cousins, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until time of the service at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.
