Obituary of Cvte Nahvehvetuh Lober

A Mass of Christian Burial for Cvte Nahvehvetuh Lober of Winfield, MO will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsberry, MO. Fr. Charles Tichacek, church pastor, will officiate with burial in Elsberry City Cemetery near Elsberry. Serving as pallbearers will be her nephews: Tony Hernandez, Brendan Byers, Killian Byers, Eric Byers, Jacob Byers and Josh Peterson. Ms. Lober, 33, passed away late Friday night, July 17, 2015 at St. Joseph Hospital West in Lake St. Louis, MO after a courageous battle with cancer. Born October 21, 1981 in Oklahoma City, OK, she was the daughter of Vicki Tahchawwickah. Cvte was a homeschool graduate. She attended Haskell Indian Nations University in Lawrence, KS. She later received her Beautician’s License and worked in various salons until her illness prevented her from doing so. She was preceded in death by her birth mother, Vicki Tahchawwickah; and one sister. Survivors include her parents, Mike and Kaye Byers of Winfield, MO; and her children: Damian Michael Lober, Preston Jon Lober, Cvte Elaina Lober and Logan Nakoda Lober of St. Louis, MO Cvte also leaves 16 brothers and sisters; other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, July 20, 2015 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry and again from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass on Tuesday at church.
