James Mayes
Funeral Director
Jim Mayes has been with Carter-Ricks Funeral Home as a
funeral assistant since 1994 and later received his funeral
director license in 1996. Mr. Mayes retired after thirty
years from the Elsberry School System where he taught English and
Social Studies and served as high school principal and later as
elementary principal. He and his wife Louise are lifelong
residents of Elsberry and are members of New Hope Baptist Church,
where he serves as Deacon and Organist. He is presently
serving as a Lincoln County Commissioner, Chairman and long time
member of the Elsberry School Board and belongs to the Lincoln
County Democratic Club.

Kimberly (Morgan) Mueller
Administrative Assistant
Kimberly (Morgan) Mueller has worked for Carter-Ricks since
2011. Kim grew up in Elsberry and is a 2004 graduate of
Elsberry High School. She and her husband, Andrew are the parents
of 2 year old son, Wyatt. She is currently attending Kirkwood
Community College in Cedar Rapids, IA taking online classes to
complete her Associate's degree in Business Administration.
Kim enjoys deer hunting and reading.

Ruth Tiller
Visitation Assistant
Ruth Tiller has been a Visitation Assistant with our
Winfield facility since 2000. She retired from GTE at Boeing
Aircraft Mfg in 1993. She and her husband Dale are
lifelong residents of Winfield and are members of the First Baptist
Church of Winfield, , where she has been an active member in the
ministry of the church with her attendance and
participation.

Robert "Bob" Kindred
Funeral Home Assistant
Bob has assisted with removals, visitations and funerals
since 2005. He and his wife, Bonnie, returned to Elsberry in
1978 after completing ten years in the U.S. Navy. He spent
the next 30 years as a firefighter and officer with the Pattonville
Fire District, in St. Louis, retiring as Battalion Chief. Bob
continues to be active in Fire Service as Assistant Fire Chief of
the Elsberry Fire Protection District, Vice-Chairman of the Lincoln
County Ambulance District Board of Directors, Councilman and Mayor
Pro-Tem of the Elsberry City Council, Past Master and Secretary of
the New Hope Lodge #199 AFAM, a member of the Scottish Rite, Valley
of St. Louis and the Northeast Scottish Rite Club and member of the
new Elsberry Kiwanis Club where he serves on the Board of
Directors. He and Bonnie are active in the Elsberry First
Christian Church.

Brent " Doc" Wilson
Funeral Assistant
Brent "Doc" Wilson has assisted with funerals and
visitations since 2011. He is a lifelong resident of Elsberry and
is a 1971 graduate from University of Missouri at Columbia with a
Bachelor of Science in Business and Public Administration. He
married another Elsberry resident, Kim Smith, and they have two
adult sons. He worked for MEMC Electronics for 31 years, retiring
in 2009. Brent took over the operation of the family farm in 1997.
He and Kim are active members of the First Christian Church in
Elsberry, and is an avid MIZZOU fan.

Mike Parker
Funeral Home Assistant
Mike Parker has assisted for Carter-Ricks Funeral Homes since
1995. He assists with funerals and visitations. Mike
assisted Ricks Funeral Homes in the 1970's. He is a lifelong
resident of Lincoln County and worked at MEMC for many years.
He is a former Alderman for the City of Elsberry. He is
a member and past master of New Hope Lodge #199, Elsberry.
Mike is married to another Elsberry resident, Linda Galloway.
Together, they have one adult son, Andrew.
